After twenty-nine (29) years of litigation and business law experience in private practice, Dave now focuses on resolving other parties’ disputes as a full-time mediator and arbitrator.  During the past eight (8) years, Dave mediated numerous cases and pre-suit claims while maintaining his litigation practice. He is a registered civil mediator having completed the certified civil mediator training in 2010.  He mediates cases involving real estate, construction, professional liability, product liability, commercial law, environmental, insurance coverage, agriculture, toxic tort, and probate.

Dave concentrated his litigation practice in the areas of construction law, professional liability, products liability, insurance defense and coverage, environmental law, personal injury, toxic tort, and commercial litigation. He represented both plaintiffs and defendants (including individuals, business entities, corporations, and not-for-profits) in a variety of matters.

He has been recognized as an Indiana Super Lawyer in the practice area of Professional Liability Defense from 2010 through 2024 and was named as a Top 50 Super Lawyer in 2013.  Dave regularly speaks on a variety of litigation and ADR topics.
