Ted was appointed as a Justice of the Indiana Supreme Court on August 7, 1996 and retired from the Court on September 30, 2010. He is the author of more majority opinions of the court than any other Justice during that period.  His opinions addressed a wide range of matters including corporate governance, shareholder rights, fiduciary duties, insurance coverage, securities and antitrust issues  and noncompetition agreements.
