In addition to his legal experience, Ted has been active in a variety of civic and charitable organizations.  He served as Chairman and CEO of the organizing committee for the 1987 Pan American Games in Indianapolis, and was the first President and CEO of Indiana Sports Corporation, which is widely regarded as a national leader among community sports development organizations.staged the 1982 Olympic Festival and is widely regarded as a national leader among community sports development organizations.  He is currently a director of Metropolitan Indianapolis Public Broadcasting, Inc., Indiana Humanities, Inc. and the Economic Club of Indiana, Inc.
